TECHEAD is seeking an SEM Analyst to join our team. As an SEM Analyst your tasks will include but may not be limited to:

 

We are looking for a results-oriented Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Analyst with advertising agency experience. A successful candidate will have excellent creative skills, capacity for making data-driven decisions and aptitude working with automated campaign management tools. The candidate should be able to effectively extract, organize, and aggregate large data sets and provide actionable insights to optimize the marketing campaigns targeting, creatives, and bidding. As a key member of the team, this person must effectively communicate their findings to various stakeholders and assist with implementing key optimization tasks. Experience and knowledge of paid social would be a bonus. (This position is not remote. Candidate must be available to work onsite M-F.)

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Plan and manage digital Advertising campaigns across Search Platforms including Google and Bing.

• Conduct competitor and keyword research and formulate search engine marketing strategy.

• Build search campaigns using updated features i.e. Ad extensions, dynamic search ads, remarketing lists.

• Manage campaign expenses, stay on budget, estimate monthly costs and reconcile discrepancies.

• Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search & social campaigns.

• Proactively perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.

• Combine data and analytics across sources into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.

• Perform regular competitive research analysis, analyze performance data and optimize campaigns to increase ROI.

• Write and edit ad copy for A/B testing purposes.

• Stay abreast of new tools, trends and best practices in search marketplace.

 

Qualifications:

 • MANDATORY! 2-3 years of search engine marketing experience, managing high volume ad buys.

• AdWords Certified.

• Expertise in using platforms like Google Adwords, and Bing.

• Familiarity with third party optimization platforms like AdEspresso.

• Proficient with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Omniture.

• Expert level knowledge of Excel.

• Strong project management skills; strong ability to develop and implement plans while continuously monitoring results and implementing improvements.

• Strong analytical skills; proven ability to think creatively about challenging analytic problems.

• Attention to detail, and strong organizational skills; ability to self-manage, juggle multiple-tasks, and manage tight deadlines.
