Data Engineer
Richmond, Virginia - Contract Role

TECHEAD is seeking a Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer your tasks will include but may not be limited to:

Job Description
We are looking for intellectually curious and driven individuals to join our team of talented data engineers and create cutting-edge Big Data solutions for on-premises data platforms.

On any given day you will:

• Develop Big Data applications using technologies such as Java, Scala, Hadoop, Spark, EMR, MapReduce, REST API, Hive, AWS, S3, Postgres 
• Develop solutions to enable auditing and data usage monitoring in our Cloud platforms.
• Create Deployment Scripts using to deploy applications in production
• Work directly with Product Owners and end-users to develop solutions in a highly collaborative and agile environment.

Skill Set Required

3-5 years of data engineering experience:

• Strong Experience with data engineering skill sets Java, Scala, Spark, EMR, Hadoop, 
• Strong experience with Dev Ops Tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, CFT, Shell Scripting, Groovy
• Strong AWS Experience EC2, S3
• CICD Experience 
• SQL, Unit, System, Integration, Regression Testing, Automation Testing
