Big Data Engineer

3+ Month Contract

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN THE U.S. WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP.

TECHEAD is seeking a Big Data Engineer to join our team. As a Big Data Engineer your tasks will include but may not be limited to:

• Experience with building and maintaining Big Data and Fast Data applications using Open source software like Spark and Kafka
• Experience with developing and deploying applications on Cloud, preferably on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Understanding of Object-Oriented and Functional programming concepts using languages like Java and Scala
• Experience with at least one NoSQL database, like MongoDB or Cassandra
  Understanding of Test-Driven Development concepts and supportive tools like Cucumber
• Experience with Build tools like Hudson and Jenkins
• Familiarity with Configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef
• Familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins or Circle CI
