TECHEAD is seeking a Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Systems Analyst your tasks will include but may not be limited to:

The SAP BW & BI Systems Analyst is a key member of the ERP Applications function of IT with prime responsibility the design, development and control of all Reporting, KPI and Dashboarding solutions on various business, operational and financial data. To accomplish role’s objectives, he/she will be using reporting tools embedded in SAP BW, as well as modern BI presentation systems highly integrated with SAP BW that provide a flexible, fast and uniform presentation environment. He/she will ensure that new business requirements are efficiently handled, business decisions are sufficiently supported at all levels, and business user’s community is effectively guided and trained to productively use all available reporting capabilities.

Prerequisites

  • Candidates will have to relocate to greater Norfolk, VA area.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in U.S.A without sponsorship.

Skills & Experience

  • College or University Degree in Computer Science or similar applied to Commercial/Finance areas
  • 6+ years of experience in SAP BW setup, configuration and support
  • 5+ years of experience in BI presentation systems,
  • Tableau experience is a must
  • 3+ years of project management responsibility experience in SAP BI projects
  • 4+ years of experience in translating business reporting requirements to technical requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in SAP BW data extractors and data feeds from external non-SAP systems
  • Minimum of 3 full-cycle implementations SAP BW or BW on HANA DB or BW4HANA and BI tools
  • Good knowledge of SAP BW and/or BW4HANA components
  • Strong communication, writing and presenting skills
  • Excellent team worker
  • Good understanding of the S/4HANA tables structure preferred
  • Any knowledge/experience in any S/4HANA functional area will be considered an asset
  • Any solid experience on BW on HANA DB or BW4HANA will be considered as a strong plus
  • Experience with ASAP and/or SAP Activate implementation methodology a plus
  • Broad understanding of business processes in Manufacturing and/or Mill & Mining industry desired

Position Responsibilities

  • The effective and efficient operation of the BW/BI productive environment
  • Monitoring and ensuring the proper functioning of all data feed, reporting structures and users’ credentials
  • Registration, prioritization, resolution and delivery of reporting solutions following business requests and/or projects
  • Capturing, analyzing and validating business requirements related directly and/or indirectly to reporting and KPIs
  • Setup, configuration and implementation of reporting solutions in BW and BI platform as a deliverable of either separate reporting requests or as part of other IT projects/initiatives
  • Unit and integration testing within BW/BI environment
  • Knowledge dissemination to Power/Key Users & business community
  • Manage and supervise SAP projects with reporting-centered scope
  • Actively participate in business analysis and solution design sessions
  • Collaborate on a permanent basis with all IT members as part of a project team, work group or committee
  • Manage team of consultants in delivering final solution to business owners based on agreed requirements
  • Manage relationships with business owners and Power/Key Users
  • Develop specification documents whenever required
  • Provide post go-live support
  • Organize and run BW/BI demonstrations to Business Users as required
  • Train Key/Power Business Users
  • Build and prepare documentation and training material
  • Organize, facilitate meetings and produce comprehensible minutes
